Fire performance is fun! I haven't been to burning man, though I have been to a regional burn 8 times now.
I found that I have a passion for dancing with fire and have been performing at the regional burn as well as at local events of various kinds since then.
Some of the events in my art garden are small gatherings of burners, and we usually do some kind of fire dancing.
I think the main thing about burner culture is the combination of art expression with paying attention to the environment and cleaning up after the wild art events.
And the acceptance of someone who can enjoy a party without drinking.
